The Oklahoma Aerospace Alliance is once again proud to present the Oklahoma Aerospace and Defense Summit and Expo AND Aerospace Education and Industry Partnership Day! This year, the OAA Summit and Expo Planning Team has chosen the Embassy Suites Conference Center in Norman, Oklahoma as the site of the Summit. Aero leaders from across Oklahoma and guests from outside our beautiful state will gather on June 4 for the annual Oklahoma Aerospace Golf Tournament. Our Golf Tournament Planning Team will announce the Tournament golf course and start time soon. Last year’s Tournament was a sell-out at the Patriot Golf Course! I expect to see many of you reveling in the Oklahoma sun and talking aero biz on the course again this year. Later that day, the OK Aero Golfers will join other Summit participants at the official Welcome Reception and Golf Awards. This event, which has been affectionately named the “Aero Bash”, is an opportunity for conference participants and others to get together to do some serious networking and to re-establish some business relationships. The Summit will convene on June 5 at 7 AM at the Embassy Suites in Norman, Oklahoma. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the OAA Board of Directors and Advisors at breakfast in the Exhibit Hall before the opening ceremonies begin at 8 AM. On June 6, Aerospace Education and Industry Partnership Day (AEIP) will welcome educators from all over Oklahoma. Our Oklahoma educators will learn about the amazing aerospace and aviation job opportunities and career paths that are available in our state. AEIP links our industry to the classroom through education and mentorships ensuring a pipeline of talent for years to come. Registration will open soon. Exciting sponsorship opportunities and exhibitor space will be available when the official Summit 2012 registration site is open. Please check back toward the end of November for Summit 2012 details.
